Chris is a seasoned food industry leader with more than 15 years’ experience driving sales and business growth across some of Australia’s most recognised food and beverage brands, including Coca-Cola Europacific Partners, Peters Ice Cream, Kraft Heinz, and McCain Foods. Throughout his career, Chris has worked at the forefront of the food supply chain — from managing relationships with major supermarkets to leading sales strategies across national accounts. His deep understanding of how products move from manufacturer to retailer to end-consumer gives him unique insight into the opportunities and challenges facing the industry today.
As Head of Growth at Yume Food, Chris is helping to transform the way food manufacturers manage surplus. Yume is Australia’s leading B2B marketplace for excess food, connecting suppliers with a wide community of buyers to unlock new revenue streams, reduce waste, and deliver measurable sustainability outcomes. In this role, Chris partners with some of the country’s largest food manufacturers to commercialise surplus products that would otherwise go to waste — turning a costly problem into a profitable and sustainable solution.
On this panel, Chris brings both commercial and sustainability perspectives: how businesses can embrace new models to cut waste, improve margins, and meet customer expectations for greener practices. He is passionate about building a food system where profitability and sustainability go hand in hand.
