Gustav Lammerding

Gustav Lammerding is a seasoned marketer, strategist, and award-winning advertising agency executive. Now Head of Marketing at Banjo’s Bakery Cafe, one of Australia’s most ambitious QSR brands, Gustav brings over two decades of experience in brand communication and entrepreneurship, from founding his own Marketing agency in 2007 to leading creative efforts across Africa. He earned his MBA from the Jack Welch Management Institute in 2023, where he was recognised by Poets & Quants as Best & Brightest MBA graduate.

With a passion for innovation, Gustav embraces creative ideas embedded in research-driven strategy, supported by data, to achieve measurable impact. His international journey includes working on brands like Steers (a leading South African fast food burger network), Lafarge Cement, Fuso, Freightliner, and Mercedes-Benz Trucks. Before joining Banjo’s, he was the Strategic Marketing Manager at Bulk Nutrients, one of Australia’s premier supplement manufacturers. Throughout, he thrived by pushing boundaries, a philosophy rooted in his early days navigating the expectations that came with the ever-evolving marketing landscape.

Beyond the boardroom, Gustav is a devout Christian, family man, accomplished portrait photographer and wannabe tri-athlete.
