School was never Kenny’s thing. He’ll be the first to tell you he wasn’t the book-smart kid. He ended up pick-packing boxes in a warehouse with not a lot going for him, until he decided something had to change. So he backed himself and gave hospitality a crack.

That crack started in 2023, at Cornubia, back when Andonis was only five stores. And here’s the part he can’t hide from: he was late to his very first shift.
What he found behind that counter was something no warehouse was ever going to teach him. He learnt the floor, he learnt people, and he built a style of service that’s completely his own: high energy, genuine passion, and a real care for every customer’s experience.

Over the years that style stopped being just Kenny’s. It became the Andonis way. He put his heart into it, helped shape it, and worked his way up through the ranks doing exactly that, every day, in every store he touched.

And that’s no accident, it’s how Andonis is built. We don’t hire executives and drop them in from the top. We back individuals who prioritise a hands-on approach, grow them from the floor, and build the owner-operator culture that runs through every store. Kenny is that philosophy in a person.

Today he’s Operations Manager for the rapidly growing Andonis Cafe Group: 14 locations, over 400 staff, and a Head Office Operations Team of Area Managers, Area Chefs and Team Leaders reporting into him.
