Advisory Council Chair / Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission
Liz Kearins

Liz Kearins learned early about the importance of care and connection in aged care, visiting her grandmothers at the community ‘home’. It was a place of kindness, compassion and respect, made warm and welcoming by its dedicated staff. Her belief in the power of care and connection has shaped a career built on engaging people and improving safety, quality and performance through values-based leadership and culture. Today, Liz helps organisations get better at getting better through her change consultancy, Engagiosity. She was appointed Chair of the Aged Care Quality and Safety Advisory Council in January 2026 and is also a long-serving board director of Aged and Disability Advocacy Australia and the Older Persons Advocacy Network.
