Melanie “Mellie” Shortland-Power is an entrepreneur, speaker, MC and master sales and pricing strategist with 30+ years in business. She spent 20 years running a bookkeeping and payroll firm specialising in hospitality, helping businesses with payroll, POS systems, pricing, sales and profitability.

She’s since built businesses across motorcycles, electronics, global coaching and marketing, specialising in lead generation, sales strategy and selling from stage.

Now Head of Sales, and fondly known as the Queen of Payroll at PaySauce Australia, Mellie combines the science of sales and human behaviour with creativity and real-world entrepreneurial experience.

Proudly neurodivergent, she speaks openly about ADHD as an entrepreneurial superpower. Outside business, she’s a musician, sailor and motorcycle rider.
