Simone brings a background of extensive experience as a small business owner, as well as over 26 years as a corporate and commercial lawyer, having worked in private legal practice, universities and in-house positions, particularly within the franchising industry, at Australian and international companies. 

Simone has helped establish franchise systems, acted for national and international franchisors, assisted in international expansions, as well as assisted master franchisees and franchisees as they acquire and deal with their franchises. 

Simone has given presentations on franchising, commercial law and business within Australia and internationally, as well as managed legal departments for national and international companies. Simone is a long-standing committee member of the Franchise Council of Australia (QLD Chapter), as well as the Chair of the QLD Law Society Franchising Committee and in addition to having been involved in government law submissions, has presented at various business and legal events in Australia and overseas.
