
Bruce Fathi is an award-winning foodservice design consultant and the founder of Hexa Design, one of Australia’s leading hospitality and commercial kitchen design firms. With over a decade of experience and more than 600 successful projects delivered across restaurants, hotels, clubs, and aged care facilities, Bruce has become a trusted voice in designing efficient, future-ready kitchens.
As Chief Executive Officer of Hexa Design, he leads a multidisciplinary team specialising in hospitality and commercial projects with a strong focus on operational flow, compliance with Australian Standards, and innovation in foodservice delivery. His expertise lies in commercial kitchen and bar design, applying deep knowledge of equipment, ergonomics, and workflow to create spaces that maximise efficiency, minimise labour costs, and enhance user experience.
Bruce is an active member of the Foodservice Consultants Society International (FCSI) and is recognised among the top foodservice design consultants in Australia. His design philosophy balances practical efficiency with human-centred design, particularly important in the aged care sector where safe workflows, accessibility, and resident well-being are paramount.
Since founding Hexa Design in 2014, Bruce has guided the company’s growth into a leading consultancy for both large-scale developments and boutique projects, known for delivering kitchens that work as seamlessly in practice as they do on paper.
