
Lindsey is a passionate and seasoned culinary professional and career chef with over 35 years of experience in the hospitality and aged care industry. Lindsey is currently one of RiseUp’s Catering Operations Specialists and oversees hospitality and catering development with RiseUp’s aged care partners, Fresh Hope Communities, St Basils Aged Care and Hardi Aged Care. Throughout his career as an Executive Chef, Lindsey held roles in aged care with Springwood and Hawkesbury Village, with companies Sodexo and Compass. In these roles, he oversaw culinary operations for large residential nursing homes, managing large teams and ensuring high standards of quality and customer experience.
Lindsey has previously worked as a Senior Chef Instructor at the Blue Mountains International Hotel Management School, combining his culinary skills with teaching, imparting knowledge to students through hands-on instruction and theoretical learning.
Lindsey’s diverse background in vocational training, sales, catering and laundry management, showcases his adaptability and wide-ranging skills. Lindsey specialises in recipe and menu design, team management, food safety compliance, IDDSI standards, and creating positive dining experiences.
