Sandra Grey-Smith – Health & Clinical Education Specialist Sandra Grey-Smith is an experienced health professional and educator with extensive expertise in adult learning, dementia care, and workforce capability development. Currently Senior Advisor, Learning & Development at Dementia Training Australia, Sandra contributed to the national development of the Dementia Education and Training Standards Framework (NDETSF), collaborating with over 70 clinicians, educators, and people with lived experience to ensure the framework is evidence-informed, inclusive, and aligned with aged care quality standards.

Her career has centred on translating health and clinical knowledge into accessible, practice-based education. She has designed and delivered training for nurses, allied health professionals, and community care staff, with a strong focus on dementia care, aged care, and disability services. Sandra’s work spans webinars, workshops, digital learning modules, and workforce development initiatives that build clinical capability and improve care outcomes.

Sandra holds a Master of Adult Education and a Bachelor of Adult Learning & Development (Monash University), as well as postgraduate qualifications in Organisational Coaching and Applied Business (Leadership & Coaching) from Swinburne University. She also has a Diploma of Nursing and a Certificate IV in Training & Assessment, combining practical healthcare experience with advanced skills in education and capability development.
